Meet the Team
Lucie de Lint is the co-founder of Spring Picnic Pictures. A talented writer, director, cinematographer, picture editor and producer, Lucie is a graduate of writing and filmmaking from the UCLA Summer Institute of Film and Television and moved to Liverpool to pursue a degree in filmmaking studies at LIPA. Recent television credits include working as media manager on the 8 part dramatic series Louise Lives Large, an Irish, Belgium and Canadian co-production (RTE, Ketnet, Family Channel). Lucie understands that all good stories come from something true and she pays this forward in creating films tailored to the truth of the individual.
Jake Beau Fell is the co-founder of Spring Picnic Pictures. Having fallen in love with filmmaking at a young age, Jake partook in a number of film programs on an international level, leading to the multiple nominations and winnings of the Spanish short-film “MIA” that he co-wrote and produced. Fast forward to his time in Liverpool, attending LIPA has enabled Jake to learn the fundamentals of good storytelling and prides himself in his cinematography, editing and writing. His experience working behind the camera gives him a visceral edge to all films he creates, as he allows the image to truly “speak for itself.”
